1. Be ready. Ofcourse, you need to be ready or make everything ready before applying. Make sure you have what you need, ballpen, resume and other stuff. You don't have to memorize the stuff that you're gonna say but you need to practice yourself.
2. The way you look. Wear your best attire for application and make them believe that you deserve for the first time they saw you. First impression lasts!
3. Always smile. When you're actually in an interview, always keep calm and smile. It will leave the interviewer in positive mood and might have to consider you.
4. Tell stories. Vocabulary matters but the thing that leads you, is the way you speak. You have to impress the interviewer, tell stories that might pull out interests. Tell him/her that you deserve and show your eagerness.
5. Relax. This is the hardest. It's hard to fight the nerve but you have to be relaxed. You'r tone of voice is very important, you don't want them to hear your gnashing voice. Always breathe, and make pauses, it helps.
